Carlingford Park In Vogue
(Courtland Boy Blue imp x Rathowen Vision of Spring)

Shown successfully in hand as a youngster before producing some lovely foals for us Vogue is now happily settled in her new home with Tina and Chrissy Mougis, Sydney. Destined for a return to the show and pony club arena with her new jockey Chrissy aboard we hear they are reeling in the ribbons and having a ton of fun together in the meantime.

Tullymore Christopher
(Annaburne Flash Thomas x Box Valley Nicole)

Multi supreme champion clydesdale both in hand and harness not to mention a lovely ride under saddle. Christopher was a much loved part of our lives from a yearling until joining the Onisforou family of KO Angus Stud, Bowral NSW as a 9 year old due to a change in the direction of the stud. We still stay in regular contact and visit Chris when the opportunity arises. Many wonderful experiences and memories were forged with Christopher.
Silkwood Heaven Blessed
(Rotherwood Windswept imp x Sanlirra Fancy Me)

Cherub is beautifully bred and a sibling of a number of successful show ponies who have featured in the presentations at HOTY, Royal show and National events. She is now living happily at Leanda Stud (Vic) where she is in foal to the lovely Kirreway For All Occassions.
After calling in to visit Cherub in her new home we thank Sarah & Denise for loving her as much as we did and look forward to seeing her babies in the coming years.
Carlingford Park Heaven Reigns
(Rothwell Toytown x Silkwood Heaven Blessed)

Chipmonk, a brown gelding by Rothwell Toytown out of the lovely Silkwood Heaven Blessed, was sold to Kate and Garry Fitzsimmons of Tamworth. He made his successful showring debut as a newcomer in 2010. We are looking forward to watching as Chippy goes from strength to strength in 2011 and beyond...
Carlingford Park Vaucluse
(Rothwell Toytown x Rathowen Vision of Spring)

Varsha was purchased by the Borg Family of Nelson, NSW. Soon after she headed to Kirsten Strath to be broken in. Capably handled by older daughter Alexis, Varsha is often seen in the show ring competiting successfully in one of her many breed registrations.  She is now competing successfully under saddle and is an extremely quiet mount for next daughter Alycia who is doing a wonderful job with her. Varshie is very lucky to have a family who love and care for her so well.
Carlingford Park Classic Rendition
(Tullymore Christopher x Sterlina (NZ)

Rennie, the only offspring of our much loved clydesdale Christopher, was bred with the hope of maturing as a medium delivery horse. Unfortunately he was far to fine and leggy and was sold to Cindy Bird of Victoria as a mount for her husband. They have done a lovely job of educating Rennie to be a useful saddle horse.
Valmont Jigsaw
(Hillside Lorten Legend imp x Valmont Sara)

After purchasing Jigsaw from the famed Valmont clydesdale stud in Victoria it was soon decided we would scale down our heavy horse program to concentrate on our Riding Ponies. Jigsaw headed north to the Darling Downs with Anthony Kohler who planned to break him to harness and venture into the showring.
Carlingford Park Intrigue
(Weston Park Mahogany x CP In Vogue)

After being purchased by Kirsty & John Glover as a yearling Isaak made one brief showring appearance before being given time to grow out. Debuting under saddle in late January 2009 Isaak has had a spectacular start to his saddle career winning broad sashes in the Open Large Pony Hack ring at every occassion to date. In February 2009 Isaak was our first Royal Show saddle representative and what a debut it was with him winning both his Novice, Open and Ridden Riding Pony classes at Canberra Royal. Only lightly shown he has since placed highly at Sydney Royal in 2011 and won Champion Large Pony at Northern NSW Hack Championships qualifying for the 2012 Grand National. We look forward to their ongoing success together as they continue to prove what a great team he and Kristy are and what a wonderful ambassador this little pocket rocket is for our stud..
Carlingford Park Decidely So
(Rosedale Tempting x Do Not Enter T/bred)

Weston Park Mahogany
(Eyarth Sama imp x Weston Model)

Marty was purchased as a 3 yr old from Weston Park Stud. He was lightly shown in hand and broken in before covering a season for us at Carlingford Park. After deciding he wasn't what we were after as an entire he was sold to Marg Withnall of Mount Hunter, NSW and later sold to Melissa Lee where he has gone on to enormous success both in hand and under saddle including Best ASP & Part Welsh Gelding at 2011 Sydney Royal along with his Best Part Welsh Gelding at 2010 Sydney Royal, SHC Preliminary Show Hunter POTY, and consistent success at the major Arabian Shows throughout NSW. Now known as 'Smudge' he is the sire of our special little mare Carlingford Park Socialite & the very successful CP Intrigue.
Vivid Image of Rathowen
(Courtland Boy Blue imp x Rathowen Vision of Spring)

Victoria arrived at Carlingford Park on her dam Rathowen Vision of Spring and later sold as a 2 yr old to Hayley Jefferies, now proprietor of Willowcroft Stud. She was broken in and shown by Hayley before being sold on as a child's mount. From all accounts Victoria and her new jockey are excelling in pony club events and pony dressage.
Carlingford Park Theatrical
Rothwell Toytown x Sterlina (SOD: One Pound Sterling (GB))

'Theatrical' commenced her saddle career two weeks prior to EI, winning broad sashes at both outings. However, having a severley interrupted Newcomer season and an ensuing minor injury in spring '08 it was decided to withdraw her from top level competition for the time being. She has since fully recovered and is now the new mount for Trinity Hooper of Armidale. We wish Trinity and Thea all the best for many years of showing together.and look forward to hearing of their future successes.
The following horses and ponies have called Carlingford Park home...
Carlingford Park  Intuition
Rothwell Toytown x Carlingford Park in Vogue (SOD: Courtland Boy Blue imp/dec)

It was with quite a degree of sadness that I farwelled our young galloway CP Intuition as he headed to his new home with young Morgan Gray of Sydney. Since being broken in Idol's easy going and quiet temperament made him an ideal candidate as a child's galloway and although it was envisaged he would be suitable for me to enjoy when the opportunity of such a wonderful home arose we knew it was in Idol's best interest to be a part of this special family home. He has since gone on to some great wins and is proving the ideal rider class mount. Both Idol and Morgan have qualified for the 2011 Royals in their Newcomer season and we wish them all the luck in their showing pursuits in the coming years.
CARLINGFORD PARK Riding Ponies
Striving For Excellence
Confined Space

Carlingford Park  Cut Above
Rosedale Tempting x Silkwood Heaven Blessed (SOD: Rotherwood Windswept imp/dec)

Congratulations to Charlotte Faulks who has taken over the reins of our lightly shown boy Carlingford Park Cut Above. Already aSsupreme Champion winner under saddle from only four show outings we wish Charlotte and Chase all the very best for a successful future together and we look forward to watching their progress along the way..
Carlingford Park Tour of Duty
(Carlingford Park Hall of Fame x Mirinda Touch of Diamonds)

After an extremely successful foal show debut and subsequent qualifying shows where he achieved no less than four Supreme Champion accolades across his four breed registrations early 2012 saw the departure of our adored boy Carlingford Park Tour of Duty to Western Australia where is he now in the care of Nikki Scari at Mira Mira Stud. His cheeky personality is already sorely missed here at home but we will no doubt one day make the rip over for a visit.

We are confident Nikli, Jason and Pauline will adore young Tucker and as much as we all do. We wish them all the very best and look forward to watching their continued success over the coming years.
